Its Hard Work To Make Money Blogging

Most bloggers want to make money blogging. Thanks to a handful of very successful and famous bloggers the popularity of blogging and making money blogging has been taken to the masses. There are probably millions of bloggers and newbie bloggers out in the blogosphere spellbound by these types of blogs.

The problem is a lot of bloggers mistakenly think that it will be relatively easy to establish themselves. Well it's not. Some are lucky, others are gifted and they get to the top with an original idea. The likes of me have to work our butts off to get anywhere with our blogs, let alone make money blogging. The likes of me are the majority so if you're serious about making money blogging you better be prepared for some very long and very hard work with no guarantees that you will ever achieve your goals.

Do you really want to make money blogging or are you happy to just let your blog evolve just for the pleasure of writing? This is an important consideration. If you're going to be blogging about your personal life, then I wouldn't even bother considering making any money from it seriously. Slap up some Google Adsense on there if you wish but you will not make money blogging that will pay your mortgage. Blog about anything that interests you, anything you want just do not turn it into a personal blog, people don't generally want to know why you was late getting up this morning or why you fell out with your husband last night.

Decide what you want to do and stick with it through thick and thin. Still not getting much traffic after 6 months, a year, two years even. As long as your traffic is on an upward curve you are on the right track. Some blogs grow traffic tremendously fast, others are not so lucky, but as long as it is growing month on month then be positive. You are on the right track. It is very possible to make money blogging but you have to stick with the plan and you have to work damn hard.
